They’re so rabid, rude, and so God-damn pissy when someone doesn’t prefer 2P Hetalia, claiming you’re obviously;

I’m so jealous that you guys are taking a bunch of simple recolours and turning into blood-thirsty, axe-crazy, rapists, yanderes, sadists, serial killers,molesters, racist bastards and justifying all on  Himaruya’s decision to draw fem!America brunette and dark-skinned. 

Of course, I’m talking about fem!America being African. Because there’s no wayI could’ve meant Hispanic, Polynesian, or even Brazilian - because apparently, from your guys’ mindset brown only applies to Africans.

Yeah… I’m sooo jealous of 2P Hetalia.

• not liking 2ptalia
• making multiple versions of non-canon 2ptalia designs 
• assigning any kind of personality variation/headcanon to 2p characters

Things that are not okay: 

• berating/shaming/otherwise making people feel bad for liking 2ptalia
• berating/shaming/otherwise making people feel bad for not liking 2ptalia 
• claiming and acting like your designs/personality headcanon are objectively the best and must be accepted by everyone in the fandom, otherwise they are wrong
• claiming and acting like there is an objectively “right” way to do anything when people are JUST. HAVING. FUN. 

I don’t give two flying fucks whether or not you like 2ptalia. That isn’t the problem here. The problem stems from both the actual fans of it who jab at each other’s designs for not being the “correct” one, and the people who dislike it and act like they are somehow superior to all of those horrible people having fun simply because they turned the 2p characters personalities darker. YES. WE 2PTALIA FANS ARE FULLY AWARE THEY ARE JUST RECOLORS. We’re just having fun with those recolors, they’re blank slates, they can be anything anyone wants them to be! THAT’S THE FUN OF IT.

If you don’t like people doing that, okie dokie, no problem at all. Either make your own version, or leave it the hell alone. Everyone needs to stop acting like the fans on either side of this are personally going over to their houses in the mornings and taking a piss in their cornflakes. We’re all just playing around with fictional characters, let it go.  

Can I just say 2P is also just Second Color.

It’s not necessarily a completely new take on the character. That is completely fan interpretation.

2P as created by Humaruya is just a redesign. The characters personalities don’t change just their designs. So hating on 2P is just really dumb ‘cuz that isn’t the canon. or what Himaruya created at all.

It’s like an alt. outfit in a fighting/ arcade video game. Simple as that.

You don’t need to like fan interpretation or even the canon design of 2P as done by Himaruya, but a little something called respect is something you should have regardless of whether you support it or not.
